Well, the upgraded M2 is an even bigger success, a real case of the best getting better. The totally redesigned blank has reduced weight but added strength and durability. The modified and faster middle-to-tip action increases line speed for extra distance and the improved recovery rate throws smooth, tight loops and increases wind penetration.  | Greys GTX Large Arbour Fly Reel
A great-looking reel that has taken the past year by storm.
The top-grade aluminium spool housing and reduced back plate give the ideal mix of strength, durability and lightness. The reel has a very sensitive disk drag system based on a one-way floating clutch, operated by a fast-locating, centrally placed drag knob.
But above all, it’s the low cost cartridge spool system (GRX interchangeable) that will make this the ideal reel for the reservoir angler. Supplied complete with two spare spools, a whole range of line weights can be assembled cheaply to cope with every imaginable situation. Never be caught out whenever the trout are feeding.

With the Platinum XD, Greys set out to design a rod that could not only cast thirty yards in a howling wind but could also flick a small dry fly into the rings of a rising trout with perfect delicacy and precision.
