 | Shimano Biocraft XT Fly Reel
This Biocraft XT reel is based on one of the most highly respected fly-fishing reels of the last decade, the Ultegra fly. One major improvement of the Biocraft over its' predecessor is the spool.
- Whilst the traditional design of the spool has remained it is now, cold forged rather than die-cast.
- The result is a spool that retains the same strength as the ultegra but is lighter.
- The whole reel is anodised making it suitable for both freshwater and saltwater applications.
