The sophisticated, high performance 3:1 geared graphite drag unit provides the kind of power and smoothness you would expect from a large traditional drag system, only without the bulk or weight. Its also completely sealed from the elements and features a one-revolution adjustment knob for quick and accurate drag settings.
- 4500CF Series reels are even lighter and more durable, thanks to the amazing new carbon fibre spools.
- 4500CF spools are interchangeable with the original 2500 Series reels.

The 6000 Series is the flagship of the Sage reel lineup and pinnacle of contemporary fly reel design. Built around a sealed graphite disk drag unit, the 6000 Series reels resist salt, grit and dunking to deliver buttery-smooth performance under tough conditions.
Big fish and high drag settings? No problem. Just twist the numbered, one-revolution drag knob, strip out line, then return to the exact setting you've tested for consistent, reliable drag levels.
Sage have removed all unneccessary weight and maximized strength with curved surfaces and complex geometry. Other features include a unique concave spool hub that increases strength and line capacity; simple no-tool left/right retrieve conversion; and an innovative one-click quick-change spool mechanism.
