A full floating line with a short (7") clear intermediate tip section merging into it. The sinking tip eliminates leader wake on the slowest retrieves and reduces the angle that the tippet makes with the fly line. The high visibility floating section helps detect subtle takes and the taper also allows for good long range presentation. The wakesaver is suitable for a whole range of techniques like; static nymphs, wet hoppers, loch style drifting and suspender buzzers. Even dry fly fishing can be revolutionised by breaking the surface film preventing the leader from spooking the fish.
