The Platinum XD series is similar to standard Platinum lines, but has been specially re-worked to make it a specialist distance line. It gives an extra 5 yd of length in the running line which experienced caster will find especially useful. The subtle tan coloured head allow gentle, unobtrusive presentation whilst the high-visiblility orange running line shows the optimum shooting point for long distance presentation. A modified taper, a hard, slick finish and the overall low diameter and suppleness of the line makes this a joy for long distance work.
