This stunning looking range has been selected from the highly respected Shimano JDM concept, and is perfect for squid and cuttlefish angling around the shores of Europe using specialist Egi lures. You’ll find the moderately fast action is powerful enough to cover large areas of water, whilst retaining a responsive tip for maximum lure action and bite detection. The eye-catching blank of the Salty Advance Eging is made from advanced High Modulus Full Carbon, which is rarely found in rods of this price. The result is a perfectly balanced combination of power and sensitivity, with the right amount of response in the middle section to play squid correctly, even in low light conditions when you have to use feel and not sight to make rapid adjustments. There are two 2.51 metre models in the range, the lighter version is suited to Egi lure sizes 1,8-3,8 and the stronger version will cope with Egi lure sizes from 2,5-4,0. To enhance the high quality performance of the Salty Advance Eging, lightweight Fuji Stainless Steel Alconite KR-type guides, with a SiC tip guide, ensure trouble free line management, even when using ultra fine braid. To complement the eye-catching blank, an exclusive Shimano real seat is fitted to the modern, ergonomic EVA split grip handle.
