If, like me, you're a fisherman who believes you only get
what you pay for these days - then read on. Having tried
various wading boots I simply couldn't find anything which
met my needs of comfort and fit...until that is I tried on
the Simms G4. It has an exceptional fit with the neoprene
stockingfoot slipping in with no trouble, it opens up to a
wide throat for ease of getting on or off and has a clever
rolling eye system for lacing efficiently and snugly. The
Vibram sole allows you to walk for miles with no discomfort,
and the boot is so well padded that you don't get that
normal crushing sensation while deep wading.

So in conclusion, yes - an expensive boot, but then with
Simms it's true, you do only get what you pay for these
days. Highly recommended!
