This hat looks like it should do the trick, but having been
subject to merciless midge attack whilst fishing in Scotland
last week, I can reliably say that it is not a 100% match
for those creatures. Some of them seem to be able to get
through the mesh and considering that a cloud of them
probably contains around 50,000 insects, then a 1% failure
rate still creates angling misery, as it did with me!
