The Long Distance is part of the Legend Competition range from Sunset. This rod has been created to meet the needs of anglers looking for long range casting ability.

To create a rod with powerful casting ability Sunset have used only the best materials. The blanks are made from high modulus 40T carbon. The Tubular tip helps resist strong waves for better bite detection and allows for heavier fishing with bulky baits.

The "Low Rider" ring guides have been specially created for reels which are loaded with fine nylon. The positioning of the rings specifically the first two, allows the quick channelling of the nylon flow to limit the chance of overflowing due to crosswinds.
