The Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX boots are extremely comfortable for long hikes since, despite their height, each boot weighs just about 730g. The waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane is a characteristic of the Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX boots. All boot membranes are tested for waterproofness in a water bath during manufacturing. As an additional assurance that the membrane is of the best possible quality, Harkila conducts a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of the total boot production.

The boot’s upper is made from durable and quick-drying Cordura, and the soles are in semi-stiff Vibram Aftersky, which ensures good grip. The midsoles of the boots are shock-absorbing, for long-distance walking comfort even on very rugged ground. They are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material and they have reinforced stitching.
