Harkila's most durable hunting boots, the Pro Hunter Ridge GTX boots, have been enhanced. They feature a medium-stiff sole that offers adequate support, and while being sturdy and made of high-quality leather, they are surprisingly light and comfy. Their height offers excellent protection against dampness in swampy areas in addition to excellent support on difficult terrain. The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane of the boots has been field-tested, and they were created and made in Europe. In the unusual event that the boots have any material or manufacturing flaws, Harkila provides a two-year warranty that covers you. This warranty is offered for all of their footwear.

The Pro Hunter Ridge GTX boots weigh only around 770g per boot, despite their height and durable leather construction. They have a tall, 11”/28 cm shaft and a standard-width last. The Pro Hunter Ridge GTX boots have a waterproof GORE-TEX Ultimate membrane, which is stronger and more hardwearing than membranes of the past. The boot’s stitching is also reinforced, and the fit has been improved.

During manufacture, all boot membranes are tested in a waterbath, to ensure they are waterproof. Harkila then performs a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of total boot production, as a further guarantee that the membrane is of the highest possible quality. The boot’s upper is made from nubuck leather, and the soles are in semi-stiff Vibram® Campus, which ensures good grip. The midsoles of the boots are shock-absorbing, for long-distance walking comfort even on very rugged ground. They are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material. The boots also have a steel eye for attaching gaiters, to prevent wear to the laces.
