Product Description

The 8 times braided line Shimano Kairiki 8 has been revised and improved. The line produced in Japan is now manufactured using a special braiding technology, the "VT Construction Method". It is a very strong and smooth PE cord, perfect for throwing long distances. It is available in diameters from 0.06 mm to 0.42 mm with an amazing breaking strength of 46.7 kg. It has the perfect characteristics for spin fishing in both fresh and saltwater, as it is very sensitive and smooth, which also greatly reduces noise. In addition to the colours light green and steel grey, two other colours are now available. A clearly visible yellow and multi-colour now complete the colour palette. The Multi-Color is particularly interesting for fishing at greater depths. Due to the smoothness and the small diameter, the new Kairiki 8 is a great line for jigging, because it has low water resistance and is very sensitive due to the maximum elongation of < 3.0%
