With it´s light, airy layout it dries fast if it gets wet, and with the hood up you also keep mosquitoes away from your neck, head and ears. The jacket has UPF 50 which protects against the sun's harmful rays. Important when you are outdoors in more southerly latitudes, but also in alpine terrain at higher altitudes.
