Morakniv's classic craft knives have get their very own series, introducing the new Morakniv Basic 511 (C) & 546 (S) Limited Edition 2022 in Dusty Blue/Dark Grey.
The two faithful servants both have ergonomic handles with a robust finger guard that optimizes your safety and makes them sit nice and steady in your hand. The blades are different, Basic 511 (C) is made of high-quality carbon steel while Basic 546 (S) is made of recycled Swedish stainless steel – both loved by professionals and hobby craftsmen.
With the carbon steel in Basic 511 (C) comes the possibility to easily sharpen the knife-edge, so you can use it again and again. Just remember that moisture and corrosive environments will affect carbon steel. Therefore, have a habit of wiping and oiling the knife blade after use.
Basic 546 (S) with its recycled Swedish stainless steel is preferred for work in outdoor environments. The knife blade has a perfect balance between length and width, which gives you a better experience. The stainless steel means that the knife will keep its sharpness longer and therefore does not require as much maintenance.
A Morakniv is always made in Mora, in their factory in the village of Östnor, where it’s been located for centuries. They have control over the entire production, as it’s Mora who carry out each step of the process.
These Morakniv Basic 511 (C) & 546 (S) Limited Edition will only be manufactured in 2022.
