Kapok (Ceiba pentandra) is a natural seed-fibre, from the fruit of the KAPOK Tree found in the tropics. Kapok is a moisture-resistant, quick-drying, resilient buoyant fibre. Kapok is often used in products such as life jackets to further boost buoyancy. KAPOK dubs easily, and is very useful dubbing for both river & stillwater dries. KAPOK can be used on its own, or also works well alongside other bouyant materials such as CDC.
