A Gore-Tex Infinium membrane, which blocks out the wind when the weather turns gloomy, is built into the Winter Active WSP jacket's soft, high-stretch fabric. The membrane is furthermore Bluesign-certified, providing assurance that it was produced responsibly. Härkila's exclusive AXIS MSP Snow camouflage, an improvement of their well-known AXIS MSP pattern, is used to conceal the jacket.
On an active winter hunt, it is crucial to transport as much moisture away from the skin as possible. This is one of the focuses of the design. As well as being perspiration-wicking, highly breathable and having a net lining for optimal air circulation, the jacket has long zipped vents under the arms for when your activity levels rise. The jacket has also been given a dirt- and water-repellent DWR coating.
It features all the pockets you might need for winter hunting. On both sides of the chest are slanted radio pockets with dual openings, giving easy access from above and from the side. As well as two large front pockets for mittens and other gear, the jacket has a zipped, inner pocket, and a net pocket for your mobile. There are adjustments at the bottom hem, hood and cuffs, for a close fit and to keep the cold out.
