In 1968 his family moved to Dunkeld House Hotel in Perthshire with 1¾ miles of the Tay, where he had been fishing since a boy. Jess fished the Tay for more than forty years as well as fishing all around the UK and the world. Now he has put together this book of 100 funny, ridiculous, riotous, hilarious, informative and poignant short stories and anecdotes from his fishing experiences.
