The Regiment III Uptide is constructed using the tried-and-true short butt long tip configuration, which produces a very smooth action. The blank has the amazing SLS3 blank construction, which results in a very small diameter blank that is both lighter and more ergonomic to grasp and operate. The tip has just enough give to sit comfortably in the water while still picking up minor nibbles and slack liners. The tip integrates perfectly into the mid and butt portions, resulting in a quick but progressive movement that increases in force as the fish pulls harder.
