Ross Reels decided that when it created its new Canyon Big Game Series reels the company would start from the ground up. The engineers at Ross extensively tested every conceivable material used in drags, and then carried that testing through each component to create its new Big Game reels. Every consideration was given to the choice of drag and body materials, spool design and even finish. The result is a serious piece of finely tooled machinery that should withstand years of heavy use in the torturous saltwater environment.
