From beginning to end, this compact version of the OSK is made specifically for outdoor use. The large blade, constructed of black coated 440C stainless steel with a specific grind, features a 5cm long groove on the cutting edge, making it simple to shave bark from branches or do other clean-up activities with a second hand near to the tip. A linerlock holds the blade in place. Except for the lanyard hole at the back, the polymer handle scales with non-slip rubber inlays cover everything. The tough nylon holder may be worn horizontally on the belt or vertically with the assistance of a loop.
